Tour 6 Days from Casablanca to Fes and desert

The 1^st: CASABLANCA –FES:

We will pick you up from the hotel and stroll around Casablanca’s Hassan II mosque one of the famous architectural masterpieces of Morocco. After that, we will drive on our Casablanca Desert tour to Rabat the current capital of the kingdom; we will pass by the Mechouar royal palace, the remains of Chellah Kasbah, Mohammed the fifth’s tomb and the Hassan Tower.

Then, we will hit the road to Meknes, which is one of the ancient capital of Moulay Ismail. While walking down its streets, you can overlook the Zerhoun mountain which rises to 1000 meters to the north, the city has a high quality of olives. Meknes is an imperial city and considered one of the first ones to be built by the Ismaili dynasty as a result the city is filled with history and heritage from ancient times, it has gigantesque gates adorned with traditional Moorish-Andalus sculpture. The city also contains Madrassa Bouanania another heritage by the ancient civilizations, vibrant souks, dar Jamai, El Hdim Square, which is similar to Jamaa El Fna square.

In the afternoon, we will stop by Volubilis and the holy village Moulay Idriss. By evening we will be found in Fez where we will spend the night in a Riad.

The 2nd day: FES CITY TOUR:

You will have a very experienced guide to show you all the outstanding aspects of the city. You will be able to explore its ancient souks, narrow alleys, vintage mosques, and towering Minarets. Fes is one of the most important cities of the kingdom. You will visit the ceramic’s cooperation and the tannery to marvel at the traditional handicraft pf Morocco.

The 3^rd Day: FES –AZROU-MIDELT-ZIZ VALLEY-RISSANI-MERZOUGA:

As we drive by the Atlas Mountains we will stop by Ifran the Switzerland of Morocco, and then we pay a visit to Azrou in its Cedar forest where we will watch its wide diversity of monkeys and apes. We will have lunch in the middle of Atlas Mountains where we can admire the beauty of Midelt. After that, we will continue our trip through Ziz valley, and make a quick stop at its narrow and overwhelming gorges. Once we arrive at Merzouga desert we will find camels waiting for us to take us to our nomad tents, and as the sun sets we would be wandering the vast seas of sand of Sahara. As we arrive we will be met with a traditional and very tasty tajine surrounded by charming people and a piece of soothing music accompanying us. We will sleep in nomad tents under the starry sky.

The 4th Day: MERZOUGA AREA –THE CAMEL TREK AND OVERNIGHT IN THE CAMP:

  we will make sure to get up early to watch what could be the best sunrise of your life. Then, we return to the hotel in Merzouga you can shower and have breakfast before we hit the road again, this time through the palm valleys of Touroug and Tinjdad, you will be able to watch the Dades gorges, valley of roses. We will drive by Kelaat Mgouna and the Skoura oasis. On the evening we will be having dinner at the desert camp while listening to some Berber music.

The 5th Day: MERZOUGA –TODRAGORGES –DADES GORGES:

Your guide will make sure to wake you up in order not to miss the spectacular view of sunrise reflected over the peaks of high dunes. You will ride camels back to the hotel to have breakfast and have a refreshing shower. We will then continue the journey by driving towards Tinghir and Todgha gorges. They are considered to be the highest narrow gorges in Morocco. You can hike along its valley. The next stop will be the Dades valley wherein you can admire the Kasbahs and the gorgeous rock formation That look like Monkey toes. You will spend the night in a nearby hotel or riad of your choosing.

The 6th Day: DADES GORGES-OURZAZATE-AIT BEN HADDOU-MARRAKECH:

After that, we have breakfast we will start driving through the 1000 kasbahs the main route connecting Dades valley and Ouarzazat. The road is a splendid opportunity for you to exercise your photography skills. Our next stop is the Klaat Mgouna known for its massive production of Rosewater. Then, we will head towards Ouarzazat the African Hollywood; we will have breakfast in Ait Benhaddou Kasbah which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco. It is also admitted to be a UNESCO world heritage site. It is the famous filming location for numerous blockbuster movies like the Gladiator and Babel.  We will pass by the mountain pass Tizi n Tichka 2260 m high. And if you are more interested we would make a stop at women cooperatives of making Argan oil before we reach Marrakech by night.
