Day trip to ESSAOUIRA

A day trip to Essaouira is the ideal escape from the business, the noise, and the traffic of Marrakech. Because Essaouira, which literally means wall in Berber, is a calm citadel on the Atlantic west coast of Africa. Alongside Marrakech, this town highly pleases its visitors. Furthermore, the culture of this city is a combination of music, history, antiquity, and beauty.
The Essaouira day trip will begin after we depart from Marrakech at 08:00 am. Our road will be filled with exuberant landscapes, reddish gorges, vast farms, and ancient olive trees.

The first stop will be at Chichaoua, to rest and drink a cup of coffee in the Afoulki cafe. As you rejuvenate, we’ll proceed. Along the road, you’ll notice some tall greenish trees that carry the essence of Argan oil. In case you haven’t heard, Argan oil is the most beneficial oil in the world as it serves for various domains such as medicine, cosmetics, nourishment… It dates from the Tertiary age, and it only grows on Moroccan soil, especially in the south as a result it survives under the severe heat of this region. And now it becomes almost extinct, it is under the protection of UNESCO.

Once we enter the city, you’ll feel as you were taken back to the 18th century. Every step you make will feel as you were in an ancient Portugal, as they turned this lively town to port for their trades and business. Then, we’ll have a tour on its unique beach, ride camels, and have a delicious, fresh meal coming right away from the ocean.
As soon as it starts to get dark, we’ll return back to Marrakech comfortably and joyfully.
